Sculptural forms and modular design

FLOS presented the ā€œLinkedā€ series created by Michael Anastassiades – modular chandeliers that resemble light sculptures. Also attracting attention was the ā€œSuper Wireā€ – thin LED wires covered in silicone and glass, creating visually light and transparent lighting solutions. Such luminaires are particularly well suited to modern and open spaces, where light and design can move freely.

The meaning of craftsmanship and materials

British designer Lee Broom collaborated with Spanish porcelain manufacturer Lladró to create the ā€œCascadeā€ collection, a collection of pendant lights made of porcelain that resemble traditional lanterns. Czech crystal manufacturer Preciosa introduced the ā€œCrystal Linksā€ system, which allows designers to create custom lighting solutions from hand-blown crystal and metal tubes.

Sustainability and portability

Ambientec from Japan presented the ā€œVoscoā€ and ā€œBarcarolleā€ portable lamps, made from high-quality materials such as glass, washi paper and recycled composites. These lamps are waterproof, USB rechargeable and designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Practicality and mobility are becoming important, especially in smaller homes and multi-purpose spaces.

Slovenian-Italian manufacturer LED Luks has launched the ā€œFloraā€ collection – 3D-printed luminaires made from 40% recycled wood and 60% PLA filament, allowing for extensive customization and eco-friendliness.
