Trends seen at the 2025 Maison&Objet show that lighting design

is increasingly moving towards multifunctionality, smart solutions and sustainability. Designers and manufacturers are investing in both aesthetics and technology, offering innovative solutions that make lighting in homes and public spaces smarter and more flexible.

Main trends:

• Solar powered lights - for example, Fermobi the new floor lamp "Yunos", which uses the largest integrated solar panel to provide energy-efficient lighting.
• Sculptural and artistic lighting fixtures – Studio Booboon brought the light sculptures "Jogak" to the fair, which combine a steel frame and Korean silk.
• Biomorphic design – Lladró presented the porcelain lamp "A Bright Idea" created by Marcantonio, which resembles natural shapes.
• Smart home integration – several manufacturers, including Pulpo, presented lighting systems that can be synchronized with smart devices and thus used much more flexibly.
